Rebecca Mandeville Interview Fsa

Online Speaker Summit: Access Top-Notch Interviews (Including Mine) – For Free!

Welcome to Our New Subscribers – and Welcome 2023!

I’m pleased to be able to offer you free access to a series of interviews from an online conference I participated in hosted by Sheree Clark. Although this virtual conference has a Women’s Midlife theme, many of the speakers and topics may be of interest to subscribers of my FSA Education blog.

Sheree invited an array of experts to chat with her about topics relating to midlife, and I am honored to be one of those she picked to feature. The impressive online event is called Sheree Clark’s January Talk Series for Midlife Women.

Sheree reached out to me last Fall to invite me to speak about Family Scapegoating Abuse (FSA) and associated trauma for her speakers event, and I was thrilled to be able to participate.

I know you’ll want to check out my interview when it is released on January 27th and hope that you can make time to listen to some of the other interviews that will be released during the last two weeks of this month. If you are a woman in mid-life, you’ll no doubt find these interviews especially pertinent!

About the Series

Sheree’s series is audio-only, so you can listen while you get ready for the day, walk,
cook dinner—and each interview is only about 20 minutes, yet jam-packed with content.
Most important, Sheree does her homework. There were no wasted moments – She asks
great questions and there is no fluff at all.

To give you a feel for my interview with Sheree, which was pre-recorded late last year, this is an excerpt from how she introduced me:

“Were you chronically bullied, shamed or rejected by a parent, sibling or other
relative while you were growing up? Ever been targeted by a smear campaign
developed by immediate or extended family? Or been called crazy, or a liar, or a
phony by your own mother or father?

Our guest today is psychotherapist Rebecca Mandeville. She’s a complex trauma
professional, researcher, author and subject matter expert on child psycho-
emotional abuse and its effects on adult survivors. Her insightful book is called
Rejected, Shamed & Blamed: Help and Hope for Adults in the Family Scapegoat
Role
.

Rebecca helps people understand and recover from the emotional damage
caused by growing up in a toxic or dysfunctional family system. And, like many
people who teach and guide from the heart, Rebecca had her own experience in
the family scapegoat role. She didn’t just read about this stuff. She has also lived
it.”
