Family Scapegoating Abuse (FSA) Education Has Moved to Substack!

Scapegoat support community

Hi everyone,

It’s been a long time since I’ve written to you from this Scapegoat Recovery WordPress site. Last year, my entire Subscriber list disappeared from my WordPress site – This was related to a plugin I was using at WordPress’s recommendation. I therefore moved my Newsletter over to Substack last June, but couldn’t notify any of my WordPress subscribers as I didn’t have access to my subscriber email list. My access has now been restored; hence, I am writing you to let you know where I’m at and the free and paid subscriber features I’m now able to offer over on my Substack that I’m truly excited about!

I’m happy to report that my Substack, Healing the Scapegoat Wound: FSA Education Support Community, became a bestseller one month after I ‘opened up shop’ over there and has been growing steadily ever since, thanks to the support of my free subscribers and paid community members.

Moving to Substack and having the financial support of paid subscribers seeking a private support community has also allowed me to focus more deeply on creating the content I love – content I can deliver directly to your inbox in a streamlined way via email and/or the Substack Mobile App.

Having the support of my Paid Subscriber Community has also allowed me to devote more time to my FSA research. For example, I’ve now had my first (co-authored) quantitative study on Family Scapegoating Abuse published in a peer-reviewed journal (European Journal of Public Health Studies), which further serves to legitimatize the experiences of FSA child victims and adult survivors. This study was initiated and led by Doctoral Research Scholar Kartheek R. Balapala, who kindly reached out to me to inquire about my co-authoring this FSA-focused study. Research Scholar Mandy Sizalobuhle Mpofu also co-authored the study. You can access the full study here: https://oapub.org/hlt/index.php/EJPHS/article/view/202/202

On Substack, I also have a private, paywall-protected Chat Space for Paid Subscribers, and I am now doing Video Livestreams and Livestream collaborations on FSA-related topics. Paid subscribers can live chat with each other during my streams – a feature they really enjoy!

If you’ve appreciated receiving my content here on WordPress in the past, I would be thrilled if you would join me on Substack as either a free or paid Subscriber. You can learn more about my Substack and/or subscribe for free (or choose to become a paid supporter if you’d like) via the link below.

Note: If the below link leads you to a Welcome / Subscriber page, you can click on the ‘X’ on the top right corner of the screen to close it out and continue to my Substack, or click on ‘I’LL EXPLORE SITE FIRST’, which is beneath the subscription offer.
