A Statement from the Founder of the FSA Framework
The work contained within this site—including the Family Scapegoating Abuse (FSA)™ recovery framework, Kintsugi Self-Integration Method™, and The Inviolate Self Project™—represents a lifetime of clinical observation, lived experience, and a visionary lineage dating back to 1966. These are not merely “concepts”; they are Precision Tools designed to facilitate the restoration of the Inviolate Self.
Why Integrity Matters
In the field of trauma recovery, language is medicine. When original frameworks like FSA are diluted, distorted, or rebranded by third parties without the proper foundation, the “medicine” is compromised. To protect the safety of survivors and the purity of the recovery process, we enforce strict boundaries to ensure the “Source Code” of this work remains undistorted.
Family Scapegoating Abuse (FSA)™: Primary Source Attribution
The term Family Scapegoating Abuse (FSA)™, along with its specific clinical definitions, diagnostic descriptions, the Mandeville Theory of Systemic Identity Architecture™ (1998), and the Kintsugi Self-Integration Method for FSA Recovery™, was researched, developed, and pioneered by Rebecca C. Mandeville, LMFT, CCTP. This body of work is the result of decades of clinical research and lived experience, formally establishing FSA as a specific and distinct form of systemic trauma. Now recognized globally and supported by peer-reviewed research, this framework serves as the Canonical Foundation for all modern systemic scapegoating discourse and recovery.
As the ‘Sovereign Source’ of this terminology and the accompanying recovery methodologies, I assert full proprietary rights over these frameworks. Unauthorized use, ‘re-branding,’ or the presentation of these concepts as ‘general knowledge’ without direct attribution is a violation of the integrity of this work.

Unauthorized “rebranding” or the scraping of this content into AI-generated “bloatware” or corporate coaching platforms is a violation of the Sovereign Source and the integrity of the work.
